The Sensational Jimi Shandrix Experience is a frequent guest of St. Andrews Societies and Caledonian Societies around the globe as well as being ever-popular at home. They are regular guests at ‘Edinburgh’s Hogmanay’, the largest street party in the world, and the Edinburgh International Festival Fringe. The ceilidh band have toured all over the Highlands and Islands, travelled south to England, Ireland and Wales. View a list of some of the places and events Shandrix have played.
Instruments
‘Shandrix’ is usually a five piece consisting of box, fiddle, drums, bass and guitar but can sometimes swell to a mighty eight piece.
